The Lamiflow L-102SF model is the pinnacle of safety. This model is the only airflow indicator available that doesn't use a constant open wall penetration. This unit was designed for use in California and anywhere with elevated building code enforcement.
About the Smoke Door
The smoke door closes off the wall penetration until an airflow measurement is needed. Simply lift the smoke door with the provided extendable wand to instantly activate the meter. Once a measurement is taken and airflow established, lower the smoke door back to the closed position and the wall penetration is closed. The smoke door is lightweight and easy to operate.
Conform to Building Codes
This is the only airflow solution that conforms to building code, requiring zero open wall penetrations. These units are designed to last and do not require any calibration for life. They are completely passive and do not require wiring or batteries of any kind. Installation is simple and easy. They are extremely low maintenance and only need to be dusted when dust buildup occurs.
